Application Terms
Terms specific to the Yappa apps and connected channels.
Last updated: 18 June 2026
These Application Terms of Service (the "Application Terms") govern your use of the Yappa applications and connected channels. This includes the Yappa web application at app.getyappa.com (the "Web App"), the Yappa Telegram front door @GetYappaBot (the "Telegram Channel"), and any future first-party native mobile applications we publish for iOS and Android (together, the "Applications"). The Applications are the channels through which you operate your Yappa account: capture ideas, build and edit your Business Brain, generate and review content, run verification, and publish and distribute through your own connected properties.
These Application Terms supplement our Terms of Service (the "Platform Terms"). By accessing, installing, or using any of the Applications, you agree to be bound by these Application Terms and the Platform Terms. In the event of any conflict between these Application Terms and the Platform Terms, these Application Terms shall govern your use of the Applications. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given to them in the Platform Terms.
Note: A first-party native Yappa mobile application is currently in development. The sections below that refer specifically to the App Store, Google Play, device permissions, and native installation are published in advance and will apply once the native Application is released. Until then, the Web App and the Telegram Channel are the available Applications, and the general terms below apply to them.
1. Application Licence
1.1 Grant of Licence
Subject to your compliance with these Application Terms and the Platform Terms, Precise Impact Ltd, trading as Yappa ("Yappa", "we", "us", or "our"), grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to access and use the Applications, and where a native application is provided, to download and install it on devices that you own or control, solely for accessing your Yappa account in connection with your authorised use of the Services under the Platform Terms.
1.2 Licence Restrictions
In addition to the restrictions set out in the Platform Terms, you agree not to:
- Copy, modify, adapt, or distribute the Applications;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the Applications, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
- Access or use the Applications through any automated means, bot, scraper, or interface we have not provided, or attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, or tenant boundaries;
- Make a native Application available over a network where it could be used by multiple devices at the same time;
- Rent, lease, lend, sell, or sublicense the Applications;
- Use the Applications to develop or distribute malware or any software intended to damage or disrupt any systems;
- Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices, labels, or marks within the Applications;
- Use the Applications in any manner that violates applicable laws or regulations, or the acceptable use rules in Section 5.
2. The Yappa Applications and Channels
2.1 One Account, Multiple Channels
The Web App, the Telegram Channel, and any native Application are different front doors onto the same Yappa account and the same underlying Services. Your tenant, your Business Brain, your generated content, your approval state, and your connected integrations are held centrally by Yappa and are presented through whichever channel you use. Actions you take in one channel (for example, approving a draft in the Telegram Channel) are reflected in the others.
2.2 The Web App
The Web App at app.getyappa.com is the primary surface for managing your tenant: editing the Business Brain, reviewing content and Trust reports, configuring integrations, and administering team members, billing, and settings. Use of the Web App also requires a compatible, up-to-date web browser and an internet connection.
2.3 The Telegram Channel
The Telegram Channel (@GetYappaBot) is a conversational front door that lets you capture ideas, request content, and review and approve drafts through Telegram. The Telegram Channel relies on the Telegram messaging service, which is operated by a third party under its own terms; see Section 7. You are responsible for securing the Telegram account and device you use to interact with the Telegram Channel, and for ensuring that only authorised people can send instructions through it.
2.4 Native Applications (Planned)
We may publish first-party native applications for iOS and Android. When released, those applications will be distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play and will be subject to the additional terms in Sections 8 to 17. The forward-looking provisions in those sections take effect for a given native Application only once that Application is made available.
3. Connected Third-Party Services and Credentials
3.1 Services You Authorise
Yappa works by connecting to external properties and services that you own or control, so that content created and verified in Yappa can be published and distributed on your behalf. Depending on your configuration, you may authorise Yappa to connect to:
- Your WordPress site, through the Yappa receiver plugin, to publish, update, and unpublish content and to exchange context;
- AutomagicalCRM (GoHighLevel), for distribution, scheduling, and related marketing workflows;
- Social accounts you connect for posting and distribution;
- Email delivery (including via our email provider, Resend) for transactional and distribution messages associated with your account;
- Telegram, for the conversational Telegram Channel described in Section 2.3.
3.2 Your Authority and Responsibility
By connecting a third-party service, you represent that you are entitled to do so and to grant Yappa the permissions the connection requires. You are responsible for your connected accounts and properties, including their configuration, their own terms of service, their availability, and anything published or sent through them at your direction. Publishing and posting happen on your own connected properties; Yappa acts on the instructions and approvals you give and within the scope of the access you grant.
3.3 Credentials, Tokens, and Revocation
When you authorise a connection, Yappa stores the resulting OAuth tokens, API keys, or plugin credentials needed to operate it. We encrypt these credentials at rest and reference them indirectly rather than exposing them in the Applications; plugin tokens for your WordPress site are hashed on the WordPress side. You may revoke a connection at any time, from within Yappa where supported and from the third-party service itself. Revoking a connection stops Yappa from acting through it; content already published to that property remains under your control on that property.
3.4 Third-Party Service Changes
Third-party services may change, restrict, deprecate, or withdraw their APIs and features at any time, which can affect or interrupt the related Yappa functionality. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or availability of third-party services, but we will make reasonable efforts to maintain supported connections and to inform you of material changes that affect them.
4. AI-Generated Content and Human Review
4.1 You Decide What Is Published
Yappa creates, challenges, and verifies content, but it does not decide on your behalf what is true, appropriate, or fit to publish. AI-generated and AI-assisted content requires human review before publication. You are responsible for reviewing content, confirming it is accurate and suitable, and approving it before it is published or distributed to any connected property.
4.2 No Professional Advice
Content produced through the Applications is provided to support your own judgement and does not constitute professional, legal, financial, medical, or SEO advice. Verification, Trust reports, and the Board of Inquisitors reduce risk and improve quality, but they do not guarantee that content is accurate, complete, non-infringing, or compliant with the laws and regulations that apply to your business.
4.3 Autopublish and Delegated Approval
Where you enable autopublish or otherwise configure Yappa to publish without a manual approval step, you remain responsible for the content published under that configuration. Enabling such a setting is your decision to delegate the human-review responsibility to the controls you have set, and you accept responsibility for content published through it.
4.4 Responsibility for Published Content
Once content is published or distributed through your connected properties, you are the publisher of that content. You are responsible for ensuring it is lawful, accurate, and does not infringe the rights of others, and for correcting, updating, or removing it where required.
5. Account Security and Acceptable Use
5.1 Securing Your Account
You are responsible for safeguarding the credentials used to access the Applications, including the credentials of every team member in your tenant and the Telegram and device access described in Section 2. We strongly recommend enabling any available two-factor or multi-factor authentication. You must notify us promptly at support@getyappa.com if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account or any connected service.
5.2 Acceptable Use
In addition to the acceptable use rules in the Platform Terms, you agree not to use the Applications to:
- Generate, publish, or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, deceptive, infringing, or that you are not authorised to publish;
- Attempt to access data, tenants, or accounts that are not your own, or to circumvent the tenant isolation that protects every customer;
- Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Applications, the inference services, or any connected third-party property;
- Misrepresent your identity or your authority to act for the business whose properties you connect;
- Use the Applications to send unsolicited, deceptive, or otherwise unlawful communications through connected channels.
6. Availability and "As Is"
6.1 Service Availability
We aim to keep the Applications available and performing well, but we do not guarantee that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. Access may be affected by maintenance, updates, capacity, network conditions, or the availability of third-party services and infrastructure on which the Applications depend.
6.2 Provided "As Is"
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, and without limiting any non-excludable rights you have under consumer law, the Applications are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the Applications will meet your requirements, that generated content will be accurate or fit for a particular purpose, or that defects will be corrected. Your statutory rights as a consumer, where they apply, are not affected.
6.3 Server-Side Operation
Generation, verification, scheduling, and publishing run on Yappa servers and your connected properties, not on your device. They continue to operate according to their configured schedule and approval state regardless of whether a particular Application is open or installed. The Applications are windows onto your account, not the engine that runs it.
7. The Telegram Channel
7.1 Reliance on Telegram
The Telegram Channel operates through the Telegram messaging service, which is provided by a third party under its own terms of service and privacy policy. Your use of Telegram is between you and Telegram. We are not responsible for the availability, security, or behaviour of the Telegram service itself.
7.2 Messages and Instructions
Instructions you send through the Telegram Channel are processed against your Yappa account. You are responsible for the content of those messages and for ensuring that anyone with access to the connected Telegram account is authorised to act for your tenant. If you lose control of the Telegram account or device, disconnect it from Yappa promptly and notify us.
7.3 Sensitive Information
Because messaging passes through a third-party service, you should avoid sending highly sensitive information through the Telegram Channel where the Web App offers a more appropriate route for that task.
8. App Store Terms (Native Applications)
8.1 Third-Party Beneficiaries
This section and Sections 9 to 17 apply once a native Application is released. You acknowledge and agree that:
- These Application Terms are between you and Yappa only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple") or Google LLC ("Google"), as applicable;
- Apple and Google, and their respective subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Application Terms with respect to the native Application;
- Upon your acceptance of these Application Terms, Apple and Google will have the right to enforce these Application Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
8.2 App Store Compliance
Your use of a native Application must comply with the applicable app store terms of service:
- iOS: Apple's App Store Terms of Service and Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions;
- Android: Google Play Terms of Service.
8.3 App Store as Sole Source
A native Application may only be downloaded and installed from the official Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not support or authorise installation from any other source, including third-party app stores or sideloading.
9. Device Requirements and Permissions (Native Applications)
9.1 Supported Devices
A native Application will be designed to work on recent supported versions of iOS and Android. The specific minimum versions will be stated on the App Store and Google Play listings and may change over time as operating systems are updated. We do not guarantee that a native Application will function on all devices meeting the minimum requirements; device-specific features, hardware limitations, or manufacturer modifications may affect performance.
9.2 Device Permissions
A native Application may request access to certain device features, which you can manage through your device settings. These may include:
- Push Notifications: to send approval requests, publishing and distribution updates, and important account notices;
- Biometric Authentication: to unlock the Application using Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint recognition. Your biometric data never leaves your device and is never collected by us; it is handled entirely by your device's operating system;
- Local Storage: to cache your data on the device for performance and limited offline viewing.
All permissions are optional where the operating system allows, but certain features may not function without the relevant permissions.
9.3 Connectivity Requirements
A native Application requires an internet connection to sign in, retrieve up-to-date account information, apply changes you make, and download updates. Any changes you make require an internet connection to take effect; a change does not take effect until it has been received by our servers.
10. Updates and Changes
10.1 Application Updates
We may from time to time issue updates to the Applications. Updates may include:
- Bug fixes and security patches;
- Performance improvements;
- New features and functionality;
- Changes required to comply with applicable laws or app store policies.
10.2 Automatic Updates
The Web App and the Telegram Channel are updated by us centrally. For a native Application, and depending on your device settings, updates may be downloaded and installed automatically. We recommend enabling automatic updates so that you have the latest security patches and features. Some updates may be required to continue using the Applications.
10.3 Compatibility Changes
Updates may change the minimum operating system, browser, or device requirements. We will provide reasonable notice before implementing changes that would prevent an Application from functioning on your current device or browser. Your account and data remain accessible through the Web App regardless of the version of any other Application you run.
11. Push Notifications
11.1 Types of Notifications
With your permission, the Applications may send notifications for:
- Approval and Review Requests: when content is ready for your review or approval;
- Publishing and Distribution Updates: when content is published, updated, or distributed through your connected properties;
- Account Notices: important updates about your account, subscription, or security.
11.2 Managing Notifications
You can manage notification preferences within the relevant Application settings or through your device's notification settings. Disabling notifications may affect your ability to receive timely review and security alerts; it does not affect the operation of generation, verification, or publishing, which run server-side as described in Section 6.
12. Maintenance and Support
12.1 Support Responsibility
Yappa is solely responsible for providing support and maintenance for the Applications. Apple and Google have no obligation to provide any maintenance or support services for any native Application.
12.2 How to Get Support
If you experience issues with the Applications, please contact us at support@getyappa.com. Please include:
- The channel affected (Web App, Telegram Channel, or native app);
- Your device, browser, and operating system version, and the application version where relevant;
- A description of the issue and steps to reproduce it;
- Any error messages you received.
12.3 Refund Requests
If you made a purchase through the Apple App Store or Google Play and believe you are entitled to a refund, you must request it through the relevant app store, subject to the refund policies of Apple or Google, as applicable. Subscriptions purchased through the Yappa platform are governed by the Platform Terms.
13. Suspension and Termination
13.1 Suspension
We may suspend your access to any or all of the Applications where we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect the Services, other customers, or third parties, including in response to a security incident, suspected breach of these Application Terms, non-payment, or unlawful activity. Where practicable, we will give notice and restore access once the issue is resolved.
13.2 Termination of Application Access
Your licence to use the Applications will terminate automatically if:
- You breach any provision of these Application Terms or the Platform Terms;
- Your subscription to the Services lapses or is cancelled;
- Your account is terminated in accordance with the Platform Terms.
13.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your licence to use the Applications shall cease immediately;
- You must delete all copies of any native Application from your devices;
- Cached data will be deleted from your devices;
- You will no longer be able to access your account through the Applications. Content already published to your own connected properties remains under your control on those properties, and any continued access to your account data is governed by the Platform Terms.
14. Intellectual Property Claims (Native Applications)
Yappa, not Apple or Google, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to a native Application or your possession and use of it, including:
- Product liability claims;
- Claims that the Application fails to conform to applicable legal or regulatory requirements;
- Claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation;
- Intellectual property infringement claims.
If any third party claims that a native Application infringes their intellectual property rights, Yappa, not Apple or Google, shall be solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of any such claim.
15. Export Compliance
You represent and warrant that:
- You are not located in a country that is subject to a UK, US, or EU government embargo;
- You are not listed on any UK, US, or EU government list of prohibited or restricted parties;
- You will not use the Applications in violation of any applicable export control laws or sanctions.
16. Apple-Specific Terms
The following additional terms apply to your use of a native Application on iOS devices, once released:
- Acknowledgement: You acknowledge that these Application Terms are between you and Yappa only, and not with Apple, and that Yappa, not Apple, is solely responsible for the Application and its content.
- Scope of Licence: The licence granted to you for the Application is limited to a non-transferable licence to use the Application on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the App Store Terms of Service.
- Maintenance and Support: Yappa is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services for the Application. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services for the Application.
- Warranty: In the event of any failure of the Application to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the Application. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the Application.
- Product Claims: Yappa, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the Application or your possession and use of the Application.
- Intellectual Property: In the event of any third-party claim that the Application infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Yappa, not Apple, shall be solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of any such claim.
- Legal Compliance: You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country that is subject to a US Government embargo, or that has been designated by the US Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Third-Party Terms: You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the Application.
- Third-Party Beneficiary: Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Application Terms, and upon your acceptance of these Application Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Application Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.
17. Google Play-Specific Terms
The following additional terms apply to your use of a native Application on Android devices, once released:
- Acknowledgement: You acknowledge that these Application Terms are between you and Yappa only, and not with Google, and that Yappa, not Google, is solely responsible for the Application and its content.
- Google Play Terms: Your use of the Application must comply with the Google Play Terms of Service.
- No Google Support: Google has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance, support, or technical assistance for the Application.
- Product Claims: Yappa, not Google, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the Application.
18. Changes to These Application Terms
We may modify these Application Terms at any time by posting the revised terms on our website and, where applicable, within the Applications. We will notify you of material changes through:
- In-app or in-channel notification;
- Push notification, where you have enabled it;
- Email to the address associated with your account.
Your continued use of the Applications after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the modified Application Terms.
19. Governing Law and Contact
19.1 Governing Law
These Application Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, except where the app store terms referenced in Section 8 or mandatory consumer law provide otherwise.
